In 2017, the Tomb Raider movie franchise is being given a make over with Alicia Vikander playing the lead role. Harley Quinn from Injustice: Gods Among Us 2

Harley Quinn proved to be a huge success and she is set to return for a sequel movie. Ever since her redesign in the Arkham Batman game series she has had her own comic series and is a consistent member of the Suicide Squad in the comics. Females everywhere got to see her in big screen action in the 2016 Suicide Squad movie and it looks like her popularity isn’t about to end either. She is returning for an animated Batman & Harley Quinn film too and there is talk of Suicide Squad 2 as well as the spin-off movie Gotham City Sirens. When it comes to creating great video games, Marvel & Capcom look for the best characters for their fighting games. They capitalized on the hype surrounding movies and games and they are now making Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite which will include female hero Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers.
