African Bride

The traditional African (Nigerian) brides adorn a head wrap around their heads which is called ‘GELE’ . Purple and yellow are popular wedding gowns colour.

Chinese Bride

The color red is considered good luck, a strong color that can keep away evil spirits. The traditional Chinese wedding dress in northern China usually is one-piece frock named Qi Pao, embroidered with elaborate gold and silver designs, brides from southern China usually wear two-piece dress named Qun Gua, Kwa or Cheongsam, also elaborately adorned with golden phoenix and dragon.

USA bride

Most weddings in the United States of America traditionally follow the white wedding type which originates from the white color of the bride’s wedding dress, The wedding gowns have contemporary and traditional touches. This white gown is usually adorned by most Christian brides around the world.

Bhutanese bride

Buddhist Bhutanese weddings are more than just dress or rings and people of Bhutan emphasis more on bond between husband and wife. The wedding rituals are performed by Buddhist monks and Lamas.The couple dress in traditional Bhutanese costumes which is GHO for men and KIRA for women. Kira is two piece dress which resembles a wrap-around in bright and vibrant colours.

Moroccan Bride

Moroccan people believe in lavish weddings and the brides adorn most vivacious traditional BERBER wedding dress. The wedding dress is usually a caftan, a sort of long robe made of silk, satin, chiffon, silk or other rich fabrics, and covered with a jacket. The dress is often open on the bottom and may have embroidery or sequined details, and may be retained by a wide belt at the waist that adds a stunning touch to the moment.

Nepalese Bride

Beautiful Nepali brides, much like their Indian Hindu brides,wear red saris which are embroidered with gold thread and dotted with sequins. The jewelry in Nepali weddings is fairly modest with only a few gold chains possibly a small maang tikka, bangles, and earrings. Often the bride is given a large, powdery tikka during the ceremony so the maang tikka is not required.Nepali brides tie a red dori tie around their top buns. This pretty bobble is adorned with sequins and woven wired decorations.

Iceland Bride

Traditional Icelandic wedding dresses comprise of a sweater, a head gear and some gorgeous embroidery on bride’s dress. This resembles Scythian looking head-dress. weddings in Iceland carry more of relaxed and casual vibes. Lot of cave weddings also take place.

Japanese Bride

The cute Japanese brides wear traditional kimonos,combined with a wig. There is also a paper hat called a tsuno-kakushi, or “horn hider,” meant to conceal the “horns” of jealous demons. Red and white are typical colours of a Shinto Japanese wedding.

Afghani Bride

The beautiful Afghani bride wears traditional Afghan clothes. During the Nikah an Afghani bride wears green dress and after the Nikah she starts wearing white dress.

Russian Bride

Russian weddings last for two days at-least and lot of wedding celebrations goes on. Singing,dancing,food,cocktails and what not. Traditional Russian bride adorns a traditional a kokoshnik headdress with a veil. The folklore Russian weddings reminds us of Cinderella weddings.

Malaysian Bride

The typical Malaysian Muslim bride wears a baju kurung or baju kebeya, which is a sarong over a long dress. Both of these are worn in a variety of colors and are usually embroidered with beautiful gold thread. They will also wear elaborate head coverings or Hijab. The hijabi brides look stunning.

Korean bride

The colorful traditional Korean wedding dress costume of a beautiful Korean bride is called Hankbok. It has too many fun elements like the bridal headpiece,wedding ribbons, hairstick, jacket,skirt traditional Hanbok shoes and traditional bridal ceremonial dress.

Pakistani bride

The gorgeous Pakistani Muslim brides often wears sharara,lehenga in vivid colours but golden and green colours tops the chart of popular wedding dress colour. Pakistani brides are stylish lot and prefer bright and lavish work on their walima wedding dresses. Lot of embroidery and work is preferred. They also wear the traditional matha patti.

Indian brides are my favorite brides and though their are different wedding dresses for Indian brides which range from traditional Bengali Saree to Punjabi wedding Salwar-suit costumes to Lehenga etc. The traditional Indian Hindu brides prefer red coloured Lehenga or Saree for their weddings.
