2018 is nearing its end and if we take a look back we can see the year had been a tremulous one, India not only witnessed some funny hilarious moments like declaration of Taimur Khan rate card by his own dad on popular show Koffee with Karan but there had been some weird moments too like Rakhi Sawant claims of Tanushree Dutta being a transgender and raping her bulldozing the #MeToo India firestorm. Lets take a look back to 2018 moments which left people widening their eyes,gasping for fresh air and even raising the eyebrows high saying out loud ‘WTF!!!’

Sunil Chhetri emotional plea

We will start on a good note with Indian Football Captain Sunil Chhetri’s emotional video message where he asked Indian football fans to fill stadiums to show their support for the “men in blue” during the Intercontinental Cup. This also instigated a debate over bad state of sports in our country other than cricket. Later Sunil Chetri clarified that he posted the video without consulting his PR team,else they would have never allowed him to do so.

The Indian #MeToo that started in October 2018 shook India with the kind of big names surfacing one after the other. It all started with Tanushree Dutta blaming Nana Patekar for harrasing her on sets of Horn Okay,followed by sexual harrasment blames on huge com.edians of AIB fame Gursimran khamba, Sajid Khan and many other big names. But the WTF moments popped up when Shakti Kapoor on the blames said ‘ 10 years ago I was a kid” Really? He was 56 year old actually talking about his being kid.WTF!

Sridevi Sudden death

Sridevi sudden death in February 2018 was an unexpected one. She went to Dubai to attend a family wedding along with his family and accidentally drowned in a bathtub just before a few months her daughter Jhanvi Kapoor film release. Sridevi’s sudden death has left millions of fans in India and elsewhere in complete shock. In countless tributes, she was billed as the first female superstar of Indian cinema. Though the way she died far across her own lands and so unexpectedly is seriously WTF!

Sanju movie

Though the Rajkumar Hirani movie Sanju was a 300 crore hit, the biopic on Sanjay Dutt faced controversies immediately after its release. Moreover, people slammed the movie for portraying media as a villain throughout Sanjay’s crimes and jail term. The song ‘Baba Bolta hai Bus Ho gaya‘ was also a controversial one where the media was shown to be responsible for Sanjay Dutt misadventures.

Not only Deepika Ranveer wedding was one of the most high profile event of the year but it also registered its presence as most influential tweet on Twitter.The security arrangements included special wristbands, patrolling boats and no drones policy which were weird enough to push people gasping a huge WTF!

Saif Ali Khan revealed that his son Taimur Ali Khan’s every photo is sold for Rs 1500, as told to him by his father-in-law Randhir Kapoor. Bollywood celebrities to world’s top business tycoon to world’ most influential people flew to attend her wedding. A whooping 720crore is estimated to be spent on the wedding. WTF! I can not even imagine 2 crores during my whole life.

Can you believe it Priyanka Chopra was called a modern day scam artist for being brown and marrying the love of her life a white American 26 year younger to her when she is far more accomplished then her beau? Mariah Smith, a writer penned down an article for The Cut where she called Priyanka Chopra a ‘modern-day scam artist’. She also wrote that PeeCee made Nick Jonas marry her against his will. Soon after that, Mariah and The Cut received flak and brickbats all over the world on social media. After many hours, The Cut pulled down the article and said, “An earlier story about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas did not meet our standards.
